today we celebrate your hustle your resilience and every single memory we have shared along the way look around you this major Milestone belongs to you and the loved ones who stood by you every step of the way today I'm proud of the graduates sitting before me but I am equally really proud of the young men and women you have become future nurses entrepreneurs Educators artists Business Leaders public servants salon owners the diploma you received today represents more than academic achievement it represents it represents perseverance it represents every challenge you overcame and every obstacle you fuse to let Define you as you leave Maxwell remember this you are stronger than you think you are more capable than you realize woo please repeat after me with gratitude to my school with pride in my city and with devotion into my country I pledge as a graduate to cherish the transitions of William H Maxwell Career and Technical High School they are going places when you see at least 99% of the students are going on to college or military it's an amazing thing and so we have to really commend it the principal and the teachers for everything that they've done I'm excited I'm going to college and I'm going to do everything possible that I can I'm very happy and I'm proud that I've reached this Milestone I'm also very excited about the future um I feel like I've built myself a smooth foundation for it and that I'm ready for whatever comes my way I also go to college I plan to go to LaGuardia so I'm very excited for the future I think she is well set up she's prepared for college she's prepared for life she knows what she wants to do she did a very good job Maxwell did a bigger job my friends helped me become more open and more outspoken we're encouraged me to open my voice as well as the staff that's been something that they've helped me throughout the years by the busted me as the principal of William mates Maxell Career and Technical education High School I certify that you have successfully completed all requirements prescribed by the New York City Department of Education I now confirm you as graduates of Maxwell High School turn your task for is over congratulations class of 2026
