Our Academics

We embrace technology, and the study of social studies, science, math and the career and technical education. We increase opportunities for self expression through the visual and performing arts, and physical education. We prepare students for the remainder of their lives. All special needs are met. Our staff provides positive role models.

Vision Tech

Want to learn about eyes and how your vision
works? Or the latest styles in eyewear, lenses
and contacts that work?

Fashion

Want to learn about fashion design, being a stylist, merchandising and buying, journalism and directing? The Fashion Program offers students the opportunity to develop awareness of the wide range of career opportunities in fashion. Students learn concepts such as garment design and
prototype development. An important goal of the program is to prepare students with entry-level job skills, and/or prepare them to gain acceptance into a fashion college. They will be assisted in preparing portfolios that are required, as part of the entrance requirement into a college fashion design program. Students are prepared with the skills to develop a portfolio that is needed when applying for post-secondary programs in Fashion. They learn Color Theory, Fashion Illustration, Computers in Fashion, and have the opportunity to design and construct original garments.

Graphic Communications

Want to learn about graphics, advertising
and study Web Design as well as InDesign,
Illustrator, Flash and DreamWeaver?

Healthcare

Are you interested in helping people? Public health promotes and protects the health of people and the communities where they live, learn, work and play. While a doctor treats people who are sick, public health employees try to prevent people from getting sick or injured in the first place. They also promote wellness by encouraging healthy behaviors. A major or minor in college in Health Sciences is also a good foundation for medical school. Courses include Ethics & Medical Law,
Anatomy and Physiology, Health Occupations, Safety and First Aid and Public Health. Students in this major also have the opportunity to be First Aid certified.

Cosmetology

Are you passionate about hair design, nail care, skin care and wellness?
